We only collect data that is necessary to provide our service:

• Account data: email address, and (if provided) name.
• Usage data: your practice answers, test results, essays submitted for AI review, vocabulary progress, and study preferences.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address (used for currency detection and abuse prevention), browser type, and basic device information.
• Analytics data: aggregated page views and events through Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics.

• To operate your account and deliver the GRE preparation features you use.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (account, receipts, important product notices).
• To improve the product, fix bugs, and analyse aggregate usage.
• To detect abuse and secure the platform.

We do not sell your personal data.

gresuccess.org uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your currency preference, and measure aggregate usage. Analytics is provided by Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4. You can block cookies through your browser settings; some features (such as staying signed in) will not work correctly without them.

We rely on the following trusted providers to run the service:

• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — application backend, database, authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) — traffic analytics.
• ipapi.co — approximate country detection for currency display.
• Lovable — hosting and deployment.

We keep account and study data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by writing to thebutler@hkbutler.com. Some records (such as billing information) may be retained longer where required by law.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your data.
• Object to certain uses of your data.

We use industry-standard security measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest via our infrastructure providers, and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure — if you suspect an issue, please contact us immediately.

Our providers may process data outside of your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on our providers' contractual and technical safeguards to protect your data during these transfers.

gresuccess.org is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the product where appropriate.

This privacy policy is subject to Hong Kong law.
